“I tend to focus on the patient’s expectations and dental needs first, then balance that with what I can do for them clinically. Doing the right thing for my patients as a care provider supersedes all else for me. I believe kindness, compassion, understanding, competence and above all integrity are important attributes to care for patients”

Frequently Ask Questions

Find answers to common questions about dental implants, the procedure, recovery, and what to expect on your journey to a new smile.

What are dental implants?

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots made of titanium that provide a permanent base for fixed or removable replacement teeth.

Who is a candidate for dental implants?

Adults with missing or broken teeth and  sufficient jawbone density are typically good candidates. A consultation with one of our dental treatment coordinators will confirm your eligibility.

How long do dental implants last?

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime.

Is the procedure painful?

Depending on what implant procedure a patient is receiving, it may be performed under local anesthesia, or a combination of local anesthesia and moderate intravenous sedation. Additionally, our doctor will prescribe mediations to make the healing process more tolerable. These medications are to be taken as needed. Many patients are fine with a combination of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen

How much do dental implants cost?

The cost varies depending on the number of implants and any additional surgical enhancements needed.

How long does the dental implant process take?

The full process, including healing time, typically takes several months, but it depends on your individual treatment plan.

Are dental implants safe?

Yes, dental implants are a safe, well-established, FDA approved treatment when performed by a qualified professional.

Can I get dental implants if I have dentures?

Yes, implants can be used to support dentures for a more stable and secure fit.
